My dog of 15 years had about 5 seizures in matter of mins. He died few hrs later on June 22. Seeing seizures happen in real time was frightening. I felt so helpless and not able to do anything. I miss so much now and house is very quite now.

We recently put down our 10 year old chihuahua due to this. I'm not completely sure if he just had vestibular disease because he also had suddenly gone blind and sometimes even bled from his eye, and he started acting erratically and strangely. He had frequent syncope episodes with eye darting. He even started having trouble peeing and pooping and even swallowing food, but I'm almost sure he was still kind of hungry. I know it's common to think we could've done more for him, and I know he was really suffering, but I really can't help but think he could've gotten better if he had gotten the right treatment instead of being bombarded with medicines. It's so hard to believe he's gone when he was just fine a few months ago. I wish that little baby was still by our side

I am concerned because these dogs can be very picky eaters and I don't want to start messing with her food just yet she is 8 weeks old today.

My cat is now only 5.4 pounds. She is literally skin and bone. She does have a history of hyperthyroidism now new ones said CKD but the biggest problem is she is secreting oily secretions from the anus. She has a greasy appearance almost all the time and after bathing and within two days, she is oily again she eats all day long and she’s not getting any weight and she does have large stools she had Giardia and was treated for it now her test is coming back negative. beside myself, I just don’t know what to do. I want to see if I can help her gain weight. She is starting to get a little picky where she wants to be eating all the time but not necessarily what I’ve been given her.

My baby had a seizure at night and there was not vet open to take her to so I had to sit with her for 12 hours before vet opened.

i wish I had known about glutamate triggers and the also the benefits of magnesium so i'm here to share with you all. My dog had seizers from meat except wild caught salmon with veg was okay and fruits. If i could go oback i would put her on a fruit diet for a while as per advice from a lady i know who rescues dogs from shelters.

I have noticed our ex-Stray cat has started spraying around the house. Mostly my stuff.. I took him in about a year ago after I had to put down two of my cats, only had one old lady left. He got a bit more confident to approach the house as both the cats I had to put down were big tomcats. But I had also gotten 3 new kittens just before he got to come in. Before he got neutered he didn’t spray. He has now gotten very comfy around the house and around the other cats and has started spraying. I came to this video after just catching him spraying right by their food bowls.. I do have multiple litter boxes and food bowls placed away from the litter boxes. He does not seem stressed at all anymore and is a very relaxed cat. I can’t boil it down to a specific reason. He gets along well with the other cats. I really don’t know what to do anymore, I have never had this issue with a cat before.. Any tips and tricks are welcome.

This is my problem with vets nowadays. If a dog is ill or unwell and you have no money, tough luck. Vets aren't there for the passion of saving and working with animals. Vets are like opioid doctors now. Everything wrong with your dog they tell you to come in, you pay for facility fee's and medical fee and doctor labors. If you google anything about your pet and problems they will instantly tell you to spend money and go to a vet. People are already in debt for their own medical bills, should they give up their pets so they don't have to go into deeper debt with their pet bills? shameful vets nowadays.

So you still can't trim the nails alone this way I think at this point my cats nails can jusy grow back into him Im running out of ideas and will power to force this

We are going through this right now with our 14 year old precious mutt Roxie. It started 6 days ago. We woke up to her panting and licking us in distress. She fell off the bed😢instead of using her ramp, which she has due to ACL surgeries in both back legs. We guided her to back yard using Help 'em Up harness, which has been a godsend since her leg injuries. She circled and wobbled and collapsed. I thought she was dying and it was traumatic. She has in last 6 days puked once (a LOT!), got bad diarrhea one day, but other days eating just fine. First day she had darting eyes uncontrollably. That was sad coz she couldn't rest! We are still wobbly and I hand feed and water her and assist with getting outside, but she rests well in her bed. I will update when she recovers! I hoped she be better by now but I heard it can even take two months. I had ignorant vet who told us to consider euthanasia!

Of course inflation is at an all-time high and the expense of running a veterinary practice is greater than ever, yet I can't help but suspect that these mega-corporations are lining their pockets, just as American hospitals for humans do. Pet healthcare resembles human healthcare more and more each year, and speaking from an American perspective, that's not a good thing.

Im right there now... My boy has been with me since he was 2 months old now 12 1/2 years old diagnosed with Cancer... I am trying everything I could to let him be pain free but now he cant walk his hind legs are not functioning he ends up sitting down ...he now yelps when he needs me and its hard for me to hear, I work nights and cant be there for him, it saddens me... His sister passed away at 4 years old from Cancer too, I know shes waiting for him... 💝😞🙏😭

My strictly indoor cat escaped on Sunday night 16th June when my sister just stepped outside to grab the laundry. It's winter here in Australia. Entering day 3 now. Somebody notified us he was spotted the night he went missing around 10:30PM about 20min walk from home. My sister went there last night and she did see him. He didn't look injured but has definitely lost weight. He got spooked and ran away. He's been strictly indoor since we adopted him at a few weeks old. He's 7 years old now. We're setting a humane cat trap that the local shelter lent to us every night until he's caught. Please pray for Tiger to come home soon. Last night we set up the trap but it was a stray and wasn't chipped (we took to the nearby vet) Update: After 8 gruelling days Tiger returned home uninjured but very hungry. After a warm bath, feast and heaps of cuddles he's on the mend. We've double cat proof the house and Tiger is happy to be an indoor cat again. He's traumatised by even the sound of an opened door. So thankful!

It is a money making myth vets created. I feed grapes to all my dogs and nothing happened. Also our dogs eat them fresh in vineyard. Nothing is know about mechanism even Tartaric acid is not proven... fearmongering at its best.

My cat has this. He gets so stressed, even if someone just rings my doorbell he runs and hides under the covers on the bed. So I have had to adopt a lot of practices to try to avoid and heal him quickly. Here’s my list. First off, if your cat is having a flare up, colloidal silver will knock it down. Veterinary Secrets here on YT has a good video about colloidal silver. Adored Beast has a colloidal silver product that is only 5ppm. I give a quarter teaspoon in the morning and night mixed with a teaspoon of raw goat milk and products from HomeoPet (UTI, Skin and Itch, and Furball. I’ve also ordered from HomeoPet a product for anxiety. I’ve been having lots of success with homeopathic medicines and they are very affordable. I use an eye dropper, not a syringe, to administer the colloidal silver and HomeoPet products all at the same time mixed with a teaspoon of Primal raw goat milk, cranberry formula. I’m giving it twice a day, if flared up I give extra doses. I’m also giving my cat supplements from Dr Mercola’s Bark & Whiskers, Detox Support and Bladder Support. I mix the doses with a teaspoon of pumpkin and a teaspoon of Open Farm Harvest Chicken Bone Broth and give it to him with the eye dropper. The right size eye droppers are hard to find but Amazon has some good ones. I’ve also discovered and awaiting the arrival of another superior product from Adored Beast called Soil and Sea that has fulvic acid and chlorella. These substances are to detox and provide micro nutrients. The chlorella is also a plant source of omega 3s. For food it’s mostly wet, some raw, a little kibble.
